Fabulous lunch in a beautiful- and quiet - restaurant overlooking the slate roofs of Oxford’s stunning buildings. The service was excellent and my ale beef pie with a glass of red wine was just the thing on a cold and rainy day before the train back to Glasgow. And the museum is beautiful- the space and the collection.

An amazing experience with such accommodating staff! The food was absolutely incredible and we are planning to go again in a few weeks!! You need to go.

So often a restaurant menu has very little I actually want to eat. Today at Quod I could have chosen many of the things on the menu! I chose one of the specials, a Caesar salad with king prawn and anchovies. Delicious, very grown up. Then yummy cheeses with crackers, chutney, celery and apple. And a bax colada. Great meal. Wonderful South African waitress. Great ambience. Expensive, but the cost of living crisis is reflected in the increase in restaurant prices.

Lovely Boxing Day lunch, one of our favourite places to eat. Amazing food, friendly staff and a relaxed experience. Thank you.

It was a very, very busy Christmas Eve. Staff were brilliant! We booked a table, it was reserved. Food choice good. Beer too.
