位於Mestre-Carpenedo​的優質歐式料理​餐廳

Eine Empfehlung folgend, sind wir in diesem Restaurant zum Abendessen eingekehrt und haben, glücklicherweise, vorab einen Tisch reserviert. Die Bedienung aufmerksam und mehrsprachig unterwegs, war immer zur Stelle, dass Essen selbst war ok. Sie Pizza Diavolo, als scharf ausgewiesen, war nicht ansatzweise scharf und die Lasagne war ok aber eben auch nur ok. Insgesamt ein guter Laden mit guten Essen und guten Ambiente. Ein richtiger „Knaller“ war es jetzt nicht. Aber es war ok.

Excellent veal fillet and sauce with a sizeable portion of fresh foie gras which makes a very pleasant change

We went on New Year’s Eve, so it was a bit chaotic. The hostess did not have our reservations as she did not use open table platform. So word to wise check with the restaurant after you do your reservations via email. However, she was able to accommodate us an hour later, which was fine. The menu has a lot of seafood and it was good. The pasta with lobster comes with a half lobster in the shell ( very good if you like to get in there). The fish soup was excellent with lots of clams, mussels, and shrimp. My son is allergic to seafood so he had a harder time picking something out. It was a bit more expensive than some of the other restaurants on our trip, but it was New Years Eve and we indulged.

While visiting Venice we wanted to try a more local and less “for tourist” place. Also, we didn’t want all the hassle to get from our hotel (near the Venice airport) to Venice (bus or taxi, boat ride and backwards, plus the waiting room time) Rossopomodoro was one of very few options that appeared in Opentable and we decided to give it a try. It’s “family restaurant” which we enjoy a lot. Good food, good ambience, quiet and specially, great service. For anyone who wants to try something a little bit less touristy, I would recommend give Rossopomodoro a try!
