We had a wonderful dinner at Hayward! We were a group of six and therefore automatically shared meals family style. I asked the staff ahead of time if two different dietary restrictions in our group could be accommodated, and they did so with aplomb. We ate multiple courses of delicious food, from appetizers and salad to roasted veggies, pasta, and eventually both a meat and vegan dish, topped off with a delightfully light and flavorful fruit dessert. The drinks were also tasty! While the price was high, the food, perfect service, and atmosphere were worth it for a special outing with friends.

Codd was actually very good. Not too price and good portion size.

We had an amazing experience. Everything was excellent. Very friendly and helpful server. Food was incredible. Have yet to try anything I didn’t love. We all agreed it was the best fried chicken we had ever had. We were lucky enough to sit at the table next to the owners. They made us feel so welcome. He even sang happy birthday to my sister and let us try a plate of food they had. I can’t wait until I am back in town to go again.
