We had an amazing first experience from front to back. The space is beautiful, the service was outstanding (shoutout to Dominque & Phil!), and food was as great as I remember from the Venice location. I can’t wait to go back!

Cecily comes to join a bunch of new excelent restaurants along Frankkin/Greenpoint. A little pricey and nice welcoming service -slightly slow at the beginning, but very nice- it arguably serves the most refined, elegant and delicious high end cooking in the neigborough. The menu is rather short but everything was just perfect, masterfully elaborated. Great Wine list but one wishes the lack of some good, affordable wines. Definitely worth the experience.

Everything about the Butcher’s Daughter is well done. We enjoyed our food, the service and the decor.

This was a nice, cozy place to eat. I cannot stress enough how amazing the cream of mushroom soup was. It was one of the best parts of my meal and, in general, one of my favorite soups I’ve ever had. I got the steak frites which cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce. I strongly recommend this place to eat if you’re in the area. It was a small-ish dining area, but comfortable for a fair sized group. There was someone celebrating their birthday there with around 10 or so people and they were seated pretty nicely.

The hostess was welcoming, attentive & all around fabulous...we ordered the buratta & the meatballs which was delicious, the Brussel sprouts were was too Al dente, the branzino was wonderful although small & the flavor of my steak was great but I'm one who from experience won't send a steak back when under cooked at a restaurant that's crazy busy, how a chef or server cannot see the difference between medium rare and medium well & delivers it after specifically being told no pink, no red, no blood is beyond me. Had I not waited on line behind 6 ppl to use the one bathroom I would have been there when my entree arrived. Without asking the server spoke to the manager & had the steak removed which was very thoughtful, however I would have preferred to eat my entree with my partner since it was our anniversary. We'll definitely try again on our next trip back home as everything else about this place was beautiful.
