Merriman’s does not disappoint! The service is top notch and the food is amazing. I would like to note that I let the server know of my gluten allergy and he explained all the options that were available gluten free. When the food was delivered, it was announced that my meal was gluten free twice! It made me feel great that everyone involved was well aware. The surroundings are beautiful and the food is always fresh and delicious. We have been here to Merriman’s in Kapalua several times and the food and service are consistently excellent. I highly recommend dining here if you are looking for an amazing restaurant.

My wife and I are unabashed foodies. We have dined all over the world. Our dinner last night was delicious. Expertly prepared with the freshest ingredients. Finest meal we have had on Maui. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous time and the food was fantastic! Our waiter Tad was knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. The beet salad is delicious! We had the special fish which was moist, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. It was a preparation I wouldn’t normally choose, but I’m trying to eat healthier and normally lentils with vegetables wouldn’t be my “go to”, but this was so flavorful and satisfying. We also had the ribeye special with the herbed butter. Again, a dish cooked perfectly with wonderful flavors. The mashed potatoes were the best I have ever enjoyed! Noah, checked in on us and our meal and was quite engaging and very fun. We enjoyed our meal and the beautiful ambiance of Traverna. It’s not to be missed when on Maui and we will be back soon! You are seated with a small group with your own bartender who is tailoring your food/drink experience. Pretty special. The three plates equate to more than enough food for us for dinner. We were fed delicious beef w/ mushrooms, tender octopus, lovely seared ahi, kanpachi crudo, and delicious cocktails. The cilantro based cocktail served with the octopus was very memorable. Very highly recommend trying it out.
