a reservation for 2 at 11:30 on a Saturday morning but didn’t need one. We were offered indoor or outdoor seating, chose indoor and it was great ambiance and wonderful, fun decor. Service was leisurely (I wouldn’t say slow, but given there were so few other patrons in the restaurant I first though it odd we only ordered drinks first and then waited another 5-10 minutes to order food - in hindsight, I appreciate not being rushed and having a leisurely paced brunch!) our server was very kind, asked if we had questions about the menu and offered advice on items. Our food and drinks were delicious. We had espresso martinis, the pink chai latte (sweet but good), the fried chicken and beignets (huge chicken portion), and the prosciutto Benedict. All were fresh and delicious. Nothing ground breaking but an absolutely solid brunch spot in the heart of pike place. One espresso martini, one latte, one entree and 2 Jell-O shots came out to $80 per person after tip. Made a reservation for 2 at 11:30 on a Saturday morning but didn’t need one. We were offered indoor or outdoor seating, chose indoor and it was great ambiance and wonderful, fun decor. Service was leisurely (I wouldn’t say slow, but given there were so few other patrons in the restaurant I first though it odd we only ordered drinks first and then waited another 5-10 minutes to order food - in hindsight, I appreciate not being rushed and having a leisurely paced brunch!) our server was very kind, asked if we had questions about the menu and offered advice on items. Our food and drinks were delicious. We had espresso martinis, the pink chai latte (sweet but good), the fried chicken and beignets (huge chicken portion), and the prosciutto Benedict. All were fresh and delicious. Nothing ground breaking but an absolutely solid brunch spot in the heart of pike place. One espresso martini, one latte, one entree and 2 Jell-O shots came out to $80 per person after tip. I would come back to try other items with a big group and sit outside during the summer months.
First time at Dockside. Pleasantly surprised with the menu and the service. We went for the seafood and were not disappointed. Fresh local oysters were excellent, although I prefer raw oysters served over ice vs. the small pebbles…
The crab bisque was delicious, pear salad was fresh and flavorful- huge portion. The scallops were seared to perfection and ling cod crusted with pistachios was amazing. Service was excellent. We did not drink any wine, but wine selection looked phenomenal. Will go back for sure!
This place is a find! And the best place for a date or to grab a solo meal. Menu offering is solid yet small. What they do they do well. Service is outstanding. Ambience is warm and charming.
