Restaurant wasn’t too crowded when we were there for late lunch. The food was very good and the ambiance very French like. Out waitress was friendly and accomadating. It was a lovely experience I would return another time.

We had a lovely breakfast with an egg dish and a yogurt with fresh fruit plate. Ambiance was very pleasant, quiet-enough with a little funky music in background - great for relaxed and lengthy conversations. I would recommend again.

I was a solo diner this last Saturday night at Lafayette. While it was crowded, they nonetheless gave me a very pleasant table. It was crowded. The food, as usual, was excellent. I had the frisee salad, which I always enjoy, and the trout. Very tasty.
