Tucked away down Dean Street amongst the hustle and the hipsters is the Pierre Victoire, one of Soho’s favourite dining institutions. This little haunt has been serving up rustic French cuisine to loyal regulars for nearly 3 decades, and this is still one of London’s favourite places for date nights and cosy pre-theatre meals. Part Provencal, part Art Nouveau, the dining room at Pierre Victoire is decorated with whitewashed walls, chalkboard menus, a vintage piano, eclectic artworks, untreated wooden floorboards and wine bottles stuffed with drippy candles, and the wholesome home-style cuisine and moreish wine is all delightfully affordable. With a steak-centric menu, Pierre Victoire also serves all the French classics, creative salads and plenty of seafood.

64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of. We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

Our private room, at 64 Goodge Street, aims to offer an extension of our restaurant experience in a secluded spot away from the dining room. We offer an a la carte menu so there is no need to decide on anything in advance and all dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notice.The room comfortably seats up to 12 guests and you will have a dedicated member of our Front of House looking after you throughout.Our menu begins with welcome snacks sent from the kitchen followed by a choice of first course, main course and dessert from our a la carte menu. Absolutely delicious. We'd dined previously at the sister restaurant and this was for our friends visiting from back home, and they were so happy. Perfect portions, very fast turn around and very well cooked. Lovely staff and great selection on the menu

This is a long established restaurant of the highest quality that continues to innovate and reflect modern cooking trends. The food is excellent and the wine is outstanding. We usually choose our own when we’re out but we have the recommendations here as they really know about delicious wines. Service is spot on and warm without being intrusive. We recommend a visit for a special occasion or simply whenever you can. It’s a lovely experience!
