“A stones throw away from Dalston Kingsland Station you will find The Dalston Jazz Bar. It’s a full on restaurant up until 10 PM. They serve an array of fresh seafood as well as yummy beer from a local brewery and cocktails. The live band plays throughout the night with a few breaks. After 10 PM they clear all tables and chairs to create a dance floor and this place then really starts to rock! We don't do vegan or vegetarian food. We specialize in fish. This was our first visit to Salut! and we had the best evening. The restaurant is small in size, but perfectly laid out. Because of its size the Kitchen is on show, which in our eyes was a bonus. It is quite something to be able to see the food being prepared as you really feel like you are part of something special. This is an intimate and extremely friendly place and the food outstanding - we will definitely be back!

Very original food, we had the prune, the egg, the iberico salad, the crozetto, the flatbread and dessert. Everything was amazing! The prune is served with an incredible balsamic vinegar, and is introduced as you would for a wine. This was already an experience in itself. All the other dishes were so flavoursome and the flatbread is a must-have! The dessert was a rhubarb cake served with a shot of rum, and was the perfect ending to a feast! We will definitely be back
