In 2024, the original location of Petit Trois, on Highland Ave in Hollywood, celebrates 10 years as a beloved, can't miss part of LA's dining scene. Chef/Owner Ludo Lefebvre puts his spin on classic French flavors including the cult-favorite Big Mec burger, swimming in rich Bordelaise sauce, perfectly roasted Heritage chicken with compressed potatoes fried in clarified butter, a French Dip sandwich served with a version of the restaurant's onion soup for dipping, and lots more. Start with the restaurant's housemade baguette served with the creamiest French butter and pair it all with wine from the restaurant's thoughtfully curated list, which includes 16 by the glass options. With a design inspired by classic Parisian bistros, Petit Trois transports guests in its 2 dining areas as well as an outdoor patio. The dining room is also available for private events.

République, located in Miracle Mile, is owned by Chefs Walter and Margarita Manzke. Centered in the heart of Los Angeles, the historic building in which it resides was originally erected in 1929 by Charlie Chaplin, and later transformed into the iconic La Brea Bakery and Campanile Restaurant. République builds on this storied past, offering a gastronomic environment imbued with history and grandeur.     food was fantastic and service was wonderful. Only changes I would’ve made was to turn up the music a little bit to create more atmosphere and increase the size of the steak frites, even if you have to raise the price a bit.

    Amazing experience. Would come again. But server was all over the place and was very hard to find when ready to order. Took about 45 minutes to place our order for the appetizer and took 3 hours total for our dinner experience which was a little too long. Other than that good experience.

    Our dining experience was great. We came to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. We were accommodated to a lovely table and treated to a birthday dessert. Waiters were very attentive and we loved the heated lamps.

    Always a wonderful experience. Food and services are exceptional. I travel to LA on business frequently and they make me feel welcome as a solo diner. There is always a warm welcome by the entire team and my preferences are remembered.

    Took my daughter for her 18th birthday with 4 of her friends & her father. Let me tell you what, it was literally the most beautiful restaurant we have visited in LA. We will be back 🤍
