We enjoyed a light meal: the consommé & the cauliflower. The soup was perfect; the maitre d' explained the head chef spends days to perfect the sheen on its surface. The cauliflower reminded me of Sunday roasts from childhood, with its warm cheesy goodness. The wine list is extensive, and they also have local ciders from the Yarra Valley.

Outstanding in every way from the moment you enter. There was clearly a lot of thought behind the restaurant. The room is lovely, tables set with linen. The room feels serene and luxurious. The food is superb, modern French with an Australian accent. Every dish was outstanding. Service is relaxed and friendly. I highly recommend a dinner at Malin. I look forward to a return visit.

When we visit Melbourne this is our go to restaurant. We love the food, service and ambiance. The food is delicious and service is attentive and ambiance authentic. We have been three time and will continue to return.
