Lovely French cafe serving good coffee, pastries, and typical small dishes like moules, rilettes, crepes, omelettes. Ambience is cozy

First time — Burgers/frites were very good. Salad Verte had the best flavors. French onion soup — excellent. Service was even better. Will return.

Few places exceed expectations set for a newer restaurant but this was my experience on my first dinner at La Grande Boucherie. Filled to capacity for Thanksgiving, the service didn't suffer, the wine list well matched to the menu, and the food was perfectly prepared. The steak melts in your mouth, the French onion soup better than Paris, and oysters fresh, plump, and perfectly chilled. Outstanding. But nothing prepares you for the breathtaking ambiance! The sweeping staircase, magnificent Beaux Arts interior- you might think you're in Paris!

Everything was excellent. The appetizers, we got the mushrooms on a waffle and pork belly steamed buns, were a great start. The venison and sausage and the sea bass and mussels were beautifully plated as well as delicious. I had the beef stew and ponme frites, which was quite hardy. The chef was visiting with customers and staff, making the atmosphere relaxed. We loved our time at Belga Cafe.

Great brunch prior to the Spirit game. We were in and out in one hour, and did not feel rushed. Food was excellent as always, service was warm and attentive.
