Serving contemporary French food, this much-loved independent restaurant has been going strong for over 22 years. Before booking, please note the restaurant has both downstairs and upstairs. The same menu options are available on both floors. There is no lift upstairs. Re Tasting Menu Timings: At lunch you must book before 1.45pm, and at dinner before 8.45pm. Tasting menus are not available outside of these times.If you cannot find a table, please contact the restaurant team direct as not all tables are available to book online. We are long-standing customers of The French Table. We had the Tasting Menu which had seven courses each one being superb, the best being the last with a quite superb pistachio cheesecake. The service was very attentive and were excellent in clearing up after I had accidentally spilled my glass of wine with the minimum Of fuss.

The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. I thought the set meal was very good value for money and a nice surprise we could use it at the weekend.

One of our trusted restaurants! We’ve never had a bad meal at Côte and yesterday was no exception. Food excellent (especially the Crème Caramel which is consistently the best we’ve ever tasted). Service was first class - friendly, efficient and helpful. Altogether a very pleasurable meal and reasonably priced too.
