Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards. The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace. The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available. The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

The Oarsman is a contemporary Bistro and Pub on Spittal Street in Marlow.For lunch and dinner, we serve bistro style, seasonal dishes from the open kitchen and small plates from the charcuterie and larder counter.Seasonal dishes are created by award winning Head Chef Scott Smith. Under Scott's helm The Oarsman is rapidly achieving accolades and recently had won Newcomer of the Year 2023 by Top50Gastropubs by Estrella Damm.We have created an extensive list of fine and rare wines, as well as a wide range of wines by the glass. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. Our first time at the Greyhound. We both had the tasting menu which was absolutely lovely. The service is excellent, and we were looked after superbly. It was much more than a meal and more like ‘an experience’. My partner and I were amazed when we left, that we had been there for almost 4 hours. Finally, you know you’re in a place that thinks of everything when they 1. Have a presentation box with different strength reading glasses for those of us that always forget our glasses. 2. At the end of the meal, you are given a bag with 2 gift boxes with breakfast for the next day. Superb all round and we will definitely be back.

We spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon One of our party was on a wheelchair and the staff went out of their way to help. Our waiter Asid could not have been mor attentive Tge flavours in the food were outstanding We will be back

The food and service is always consistent and always enjoyable, we’ve been back so many times, it’s definitely one of the best Sunday roasts for miles around! We have tried many local pubs & restaurants near us, but we are happy to travel from Langley to Farnham Common because The Foresters has the best roast dinner for miles around.
