Lovely food, friendly impeccable service, gorgeous Christmas decorations - great occasion to share with my god daughter

Dining with girl friends on a Wednesday night so not busy. Excellent food. Great service but not too intrusive. I had three courses and finished them all which I never normally do. I'd recommend it for small or large groups. We will definitely be going back.

What a lovely restaurant in the centre of Old Beaconsfield. Extremely welcoming and attentive staff, high quality two course lunch for £40 each with some lovely surprise additions before and throughout the meal. Having exquisite company was also delightful 😁

Absolutely exceptional. We’re still buzzing! The food was outstanding. Really delicious combinations of flavours and cooked to perfection. We had the set lunch menu which was great value. What really blew us away, however, were the precautions and guidance they took to cater for my nut allergy. Many thanks to the team who were very warm and welcoming. We’re already planning another lunch!

The Thatch is consistently the best place to eat in Thame. Not a cheap option but the quality is excellent and the staff are just brilliant. You get what you pay for and a full restaurant, mid-week, shows that others must agree.
