The Rabbits is a family friendly gastro pub & restaurant in the heart of the essex countryside. We pride ourselves on good friendly service and good quality homecooked food with our seasonal menus, we serve real ales, fine wines & premium spirits. We have a great beer garden where you can take in the picturesque views whilst not having to go too far to order any food or drink as this can all be done at our garden bar which is also playing background music around our garden, this is open Thurs-Sunday throughout the spring/summer weather permitting. Lovely food, piping hot served on hot plates which is always a must. Fish and chips was delicious, crunchy batter, lovely white fish, crispy chips, order the burger aswell, again delicious, nice and hot and generous filling, nacho cheese sauce lovely , it's our to go to pub for dinner now, will book for Sunday Lunch as soon as work allows.

one of my top 3 sunday roasts ever! everything was cooked to perfection. I got the pork and my wife the chicken. bioth juicy and surrounded with perfectly roasted potatoes and other veg. had a great time, great vibe and the manager Rosa , seems to be running a tight ship! will be back
