‘MORE THAN JUST A PUB! ‘There's plenty on offer throughout the week at The Cricketers Mill Green near Ingatestone in Essex.Set within a beautiful rural environment but easily accessible.Now serving lunch & dinner 5 days per week including an extended Sunday Lunch service.Please Note While Booking With Us, Dogs are allowed in the bar area however that are not allowed in the restaurant.Food is served in our restaurant with our new A La Carte menu which is served Wednesday to Saturday 12-3pm then 6-9pm or our new Bar menu Which is served all day Wednesday to Saturday 12-9pm excluding sandwiches in the evening.See our website for our menus.We also have daily 'specials' so there is always something different. We use locally sourced ingredients and all of our dishes are freshly prepared in our kitchen.

Welcome to The Bull Brentwood, a warm, comfortable & friendly, family run gastro style pub. Our passion is to serve delicious homemade food using the finest ingredients, including rare breed meats and locally sourced produce. On the menu you can expect seasonally changing hearty food along with weekly specials plus the added bonus of a great wine list and friendly staff. The Olde Dog Inn at Herongate Tye is a picturesque Essex weather boarded inn. Known to date from the early 16th century, the pub has been serving good beer and food for hundreds of years. A wealth of traditional features greets you upon arrival with low-beamed ceilings, exposed fireplaces and a friendly atmosphere.Once again The Olde Dog Inn has been voted by OpenTable diners as one of the best. Thank you so much to all our customers that dined with us and left a review.*Bookings for tables of more than 6 people require a £10pp deposit which will be deducted from your bill on the day. Please note that deposits are non-refundable. If more that 48 hours’ notice is given for cancellation, we will be happy to move your deposit to a future booking or provide a gift voucher for the amount.

    Such a lovely evening! The food was just incredible, particularly the venison tartare, pork loin and beef cheek. Just amazing. Such lovely staff who were always ready to help and even treated us to a complimentary pudding for our special occasion! The Guinness was also a major highlight. Huge fun sitting near the bar upstairs and watching the cooks create everything. Can’t wait to come back again, thank you for looking after us so brilliantly!

    Great surroundings and excellent, attentive service. A couple of points though, the food gets cold very quickly so the offer to have hot plates would be nice. For the bigger eaters, I would like to be offered another roast potato in addition to the Three, which would hardly eat into profits and at £22 two pieces of meat is a bit frugal. All in all, it is an honest review, but there are so many improvements since it was our local 17+ years ago. Lots of patronage, so it must suit so many.

    Food was delicious. Portions were generous and flavours were amazing. Side of chips were the best we have had and remained hot throughout our meal Coffee a little disappointing but will definitely return
