We pride ourselves on good friendly service and good quality homecooked food with our seasonal menus, we serve real ales, fine wines & premium spirits. We have a great beer garden where you can take in the picturesque views whilst not having to go too far to order any food or drink as this can all be done at our garden bar which is also playing background music around our garden, this is open Thurs-Sunday throughout the spring/summer weather permitting. We take great care in sourcing our produce direct from the best suppliers both locally and abroad. I've been wanting to try the Parakeet for many months and so glad I did it! Probably one the best Sunday roasts in London - both the beef and chicken were cooked to perfection and the trimmings also. A delicious sticky toffee pudding to finish off an incredible meal! I will come back again and again and again!

First time at The Lore of the Land. Blown away by the quality of food, wine and service. We had a group of 7 friends dining for lunch, had an enjoyable pre lunch drink in the bar, and then an amazing 3.5 hours of incredible lunch experience. Particular call out for our waitress, Cher, who served us for the entire 3.5 hours. Great knowledge of the dishes, good sense of humour, and really made the experience top drawer for us. Definitely going again soon.
