The Rabbits is a family friendly gastro pub & restaurant in the heart of the essex countryside. We pride ourselves on good friendly service and good quality homecooked food with our seasonal menus, we serve real ales, fine wines & premium spirits. We have a great beer garden where you can take in the picturesque views whilst not having to go too far to order any food or drink as this can all be done at our garden bar which is also playing background music around our garden, this is open Thurs-Sunday throughout the spring/summer weather permitting. The Hemingway is a good quality pub that serves delicious no-nonsense grub.You can see every dish being made to order in our open plan kitchen- no soggy microwaved frozen meals here! We take great care in sourcing our produce direct from the best suppliers both locally and abroad. Our menu is a mix of classic crowd pleasers and regularly changing seasonal dishes, which means you'll always find something to tempt your taste buds (even if you're in every day!).We are a pub, not a cocktail bar and while we make a blinding Bloody Mary, and will happily mix you an Aperol Spritz or Negroni, we don't do Pina Coladas. That said, we are extremely proud of our wide range of spirits from around the globe, which (where possible) we offer at affordable prices. Our menu is compiled daily using British shores seafood. We work with independent fishmongers to select the best ingredients. We believe sustainable British seafood should be something for everyone to enjoy & were better than a proper East End Pub.It's not all about food at the Vic. The food is excellent - really tasty and perfectly proportioned. Service was also brilliant - good relaxed atmosphere. The menu is heavy on meat and then fish but there is just about enough for a veggie in the party - would heartily recommend.

Great Experience at The Bull Brentwood. Service was amazing, the friendly staff made you feel welcomed from the offset. The food was exemplary and has such a great selection for anyone with a gluten intolerance! Can’t wait to go back again as such good value for money and you’re well looked after.
