The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Can't go wrong with the steaks, rare was actually rare, done perfectly with good sear. Great service from the staff, nice ambience. If there were more parking spaces available (but there was an event that day so that's ok) would have been a 10/10!

Dining with girl friends on a Wednesday night so not busy. Excellent food. Great service but not too intrusive. I had three courses and finished them all which I never normally do. I'd recommend it for small or large groups. We will definitely be going back.

What a lovely restaurant in the centre of Old Beaconsfield. Extremely welcoming and attentive staff, high quality two course lunch for £40 each with some lovely surprise additions before and throughout the meal. Having exquisite company was also delightful 😁

Enjoyed a very nice evening with my wife and daughter at The Bells. The wine I ordered was excellent and well priced and we all enjoyed well presented and very good food. Service was spot on and food was served in a timely manner. Can highly recommend.
