Their first restaurant together, owners Lien Ta and Chef Jonathan Whitener opened Here's Looking At You in 2016. Named a "Restaurant of the Year" by Food & Wine Magazine and one of Eater National's "38 Most Essential Restaurants," HLAY was also the subject of author Patric Kuh's "Becoming a Restaurateur." After four magical years as a small independent restaurant, COVID-19 would force its forever closure. This is third thanksgiving had La Bohème and was not as good as a previous two years. Turkey with a little dry and could have used more gravy and mashed potatoes or not hot. I’m not having dessert. Options was also a disappointment. I love the restaurant, the energy and the service, but the food needs to improve.

The burger is bomb! Very rich so it can be shared between two. The Caesar salad was also a damn delight! If you're feeling like splurging def add the 30-day aged steak!
