We had amazing servers score for the food is my steak was a bit chewy and not a medium rare more rare I didn’t complain not my style . My wife’s short rib was amazing and the lil banana bread while leaving was a nice touch . Over and above the steak being chewy and undercooked was a great night .

Was really good overall and the service was great! Food was a bit dry - ordered medium steak and got well-done. Fries were also dry. But I love the glass roof, scenery and lighting!

Excellent service, great menu choices, wonderful old Halifax décor. All food was perfectly prepared and well presented. We particularly liked the Oysters, Calamari, crab cake, tenderloin, swordfish and duck.

Our evening started off very well with excellent service, thank you Layla, and kept going strong from there. The food was delicious, beautifully plated and delivered well.

We were seven relatives from Vancouver to Halifax who had not been together for a while. I had left a voicemail asking for a quiet spot and we were given a somewhat private space. The wait staff (Terri) was truly wonderful and cared for us as if we were very special guests. The food was very good and plated beautifully. Everyone agreed that Gio was a special place!
