Our starters included zucchinin chips, which were different and very tasty, plus spanikopita, which was excellent. My vegetarian moussaka was decent; my wife's chicken was good and her mashed potatoes excellent.

Incredible as always! Hero Ranch is a small, intimate restaurant that consistently delivers some of the best food in the South Bay. The execution is always flawless, with a menu that keeps my favorites while regularly introducing exciting new dishes. Their ribeye is perfectly cooked, the octopus is tender and flavorful, and the beet salad is a refreshing standout. The ahi appetizer is a must-try, and their cocktails are expertly crafted. Whether you’re coming for a special night out or just craving exceptional food, Hero Ranch never disappoints!

We recently dined at this wonderful gem in Palo Alto and had an unforgettable experience! As a party of two, we kicked off our evening with the Xinomavro wine and a refreshing Kickstarter cocktail. To our delight, the chef sent out a small corn soup as a complimentary starter, which was absolutely delightful. For appetizers, we ordered the tarama and keftedakia. Each bite was perfect, and we were happily enjoying them alongside our drinks. We also had the Greek salad and saganaki, the latter of which was flamed right at our table — a fun and impressive touch! The staff was friendly, professional, and very meticulous, taking the time to explain the ingredients of each dish. Our server, Andres, took exceptional care of us and ensured our experience was nothing short of perfect. A big thank you to him for making our evening special! For the main course, I opted for the Psaraki whole fish, and my guest had the Mousakka. Both dishes were exceptional and absolutely worth trying! The portion sizes are thoughtfully designed so you can enjoy a variety of flavors from the menu. This restaurant provides a top-tier dining experience that suits any budget. It’s truly a hidden gem in Palo Alto, and we can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

Evvia is one of my favorite all time restaurants. The food is consistently excellent and the service impeccable. Favorite dishes include the spreads, the Evvia salad, Greek salad, avgolemono soup, anything with lamb and the whole fish. The pasta never disappoints and if you want a hearty dish their moussaka is the very best outside Greece.

Greeting wasn't as warm. Guy didn't seem too interested or distracted. But when we sat down our waiters were attentive. We ordered masala, lamb shank and a small shareable salad. Everything came out great! I wish they still have Octopus but it's all good!
