Kellari Taverna is located in the heart of New York City, three blocks from Grand Central Station, Times Square and the Theater District. As you step inside you’ll be transported by the Santorini aesthetic where fresh ingredients hit your senses and human interaction is a refreshing priority. Kyma’s airy, whitewashed wood design balanced by European stucco, evoke the stylized spirit of the Greek Islands. Generous seating at long white wooden tables are lined with plush, white canvas cushions. We do have a DJ for your entertainment on Thursdays in the main room and on Fridays and Saturdays DJ starts at 8 PM. During our dinner parties the music does increase in volume and becomes more upbeat as the night progresses. Please note: you must be 21 years of age to enter during our DJ hours. Went for brunch. Generous portion’s. The Greek Apps not on the brunch menu were delicious. The brunch mains weren’t as good. The service is really good. I want to come back for dinner. I’m thinking the a la carte food is much better than the brunch menu…..

We had a fabulous time. The waiter was friendly and helpful. The maitre d checked in on us twice, which made us feel very taken care of. The appetizers were out of this world delicious. Extra extra delicious. The cocktails were superb. The only criticism I would give is that the steak we requested to be medium, was served as medium well, and we would have appreciated replenishment on the bread and water. And the baklava for the price we paid was a bit too small and not too tasty. Overall, we really enjoyed the ambience, which was extremely romantic and mostly all the food was very delicious.

We were at Garage for a comfortable brunch right after New Years Eve and didn’t disappoint it. Very nice staff, beautiful decor and great food. 100% recommend the Scallops Crudo Chef’s Special
