On the doorstep of the bustling Borough Market, the first Casa do Frango lies within a converted 19th-century industrial warehouse, a building full of character, complete with vaulted ceilings, arched windows and relics of the past. Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. The restaurant has become known for piri-piri chicken, with perfectly caramelised skin and a deep flavour which comes from a brush of Casa’s secret piri-piri blend. The menu offers so much more, with small and large plates all designed to share. Everything at Casa is made fresh in-house, using top quality, locally sourced ingredients. Great place if you are looking for a top quality steak. Very authentic, with attentive staff that give you recommendations and allow you to change the menu if you like. We had the queso provolone, half parrillada de vegetales, bife de chorizo, and the matrimonio (two chorizo's instead of one and one). Everything was delicious, and very similar to any top Argentinian place. We had one Negroni each as well as a bottle of wine, which was also very nice and reasonably priced. We had the alfajor ice cream for dessert and was very good. Great place.

Great welcome, fantastic table by window, food well presented and good flavours. Meals of an appropriate size - we don’t like overfilled plates, so the servings were just right.

Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. We had the Sunday roast £25 offer which was good value for money and very tasty. The jazz singer was lovely too. The only thing is it gets incredibly noisy because of the high ceilings and industrial design. Would recommend though because of service and food.
