Bramleys is a family owned restaurant based in Oakwood, North London. Our focus is to use the freshest seasonal produce. Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We smoke for up to 16 hours using the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour.

Great food, I had the Lamb Tacos for a starter and for the mains I had the Argentine Sirloin Steak (Medium) and fries. The steak was juicy and super tasty. The fries were addictive. All in all the food was amazing. The whole place had a happy friendly ambience. The customers all looked happy and we're enjoying their respective food orders. The place attracted a decent crowd as well, it was a family friendly place, The staff was also very friendly. I couldn't fault the place at all. Eating here was a pleasure. Good people making good food for good people in a good place 10/10

Great service, from the welcome, sitting down and letting us decide on suitable seating area. The place was like an art deco gallery, they have put a lot of effort to make sure the experience is remembered. Food mains were fantastic, not a fan of the starters, maybe tweaking the flavours and cooking may be needed. Best dish honey glazed wings as per my colleagues.
