Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. What a great time we had here! Great Sunday roast, home made chips with a lovely salad, bottle of white wine, a couple of beers. But the highlight of the visit was Alfredo and the atmosphere he creates with all of his guests. So funny, hard working, on point, constantly making sure everyone is ok. There was also a lady serving, along with him. She too was equally on point - this was a real find, one we will be visiting again when we’re back in Town.

The food is outstanding - combos you wouldn’t think works but oh my word it really does!!! Value for money too and the service is mint. This is the second time I’ve been, and I brought my fuzzy friends. The ones who will complain about anything and everything. They had not a single bad word to say. (I hardly ever suggest places to eat because I can’t deal with the complaining if they aren’t happy with … the draft, the speed of service and what not - however I was confident in taking them here. And it didn’t disappoint!!) 15/10!!
