Eastside Bar & Grill pays homage to the upmarket dining experiences of New York, nestled within a heritage listed warehouse, evoking the atmosphere of New York’s famed meatpacking district. At Eastside you'll find incredible seafood and the finest cuts of meat that have been dry-aged in-house and prepared on the beautiful custom-built Parrilla wood-fire grill by Head Chef Sebastian Plazas and team.Dark, sexy and theatrical, the restaurant features a leather paneled bar with bronze back bar display. A custom brass light fixture, a runway of herringbone flooring and an assortment of steel and leather chairs, marrying the existing raw structure of this 100-year-old building.

Yana Coogee, situated a stone’s throw away from the beach on the main promenade of Coogee, is inspired by Chef Same Lane's passion for the simplicity of cooking with an open fire and the feeling of being surrounded by great food, drink and company. The delicate smokey aromas from the kitchen greet guests as they arrive in our Australian inspired interior with exposed brick walls and leather seating booths - altogether, setting the scene for a delicious, fire-touched dining experience. The menu will be agile to work closely with the dynamic nature of the availability of local produce. You can expect to enjoy a menu including Whole King Prawns with Nduja butter, 1.2kg black onyx Tomahawk with oregano Verde, and sides including Medley with Heirloom carrots, radish, zucchini, Sheep yoghurt, sumac, and honey.     Great food and location. We enjoyed the Tbone steak. I love the Portobello mushroom as well. The coffee is great too! The servers are very attentive which is great.

    This was my first time dining here and i do not normally write reviews but here i am! The food was so good! we had the "tomahawk with tommy's" special and the steak was cooked to perfection. The staff were great as well!

    We had such an incredible view. The staff were professional and were very attentive. We had a wonderful dining experiance. Would definitely recommend and come back again in future.

    My partner and I dined at Eastside bar and Grill for the Tuesday $98 Tomahawk steak deal and it was amazing. The steak was incredibly tender and the pepper, mushroom gravy and truffle mayo were perfect accompaniments. We had steak fries and green beans as sides and the green beans were exceptional. The atmosphere was intimate with candlelight, making a great setting for a special evening. The staff were phenomenal, especially helping me surprise my partner with a beautifully decorated chocolate lava cake for his birthday. Overall the food, service, and ambience were outstanding. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back!
