This restaurant came recommended to me by a family member and I am so glad I went! The food was amazing, for someone like me who is not overly adventurous when it comes to food, I was delighted by everything I tried. The service was great, all of the staff were friendly and pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The restaurant is intimate and ideal for a catch up with friends or a dinner out with a partner. Highly recommend and will definitely come back to Ish.

Went twice in 2 weeks with different sets of friends and each time we said ‘This is one place we are coming back too’ ! Zoey & Laura were both outstanding with the way they looked after us as was each dish we ordered and .. we ordered everything !!

I dined with 3 people - one of us has coeliac who, based on previous experiences, is very cautious to go out and order food in a restaurant with reassurance that it is gluten free. The staff here were fantastic and very accommodating of our needs, reassuring us multiple times that the poppadoms and other dishes were gluten free which was a huge relief. Happy to report that our coeliac diner had no ill effects (which can even happen with supermarket GF bread) so this was a huge plus and an excellent meal. The food we did order was incredible - I'm still thinking about their rum beef ribs and the goat and chicken curries we ordered were as good as any multi-award winning curry houses in the UK. Can't recommend the service and the food enough, although I'd recommend they light up the stairs a little better because they're a bit tricky to navigate after dark!

Magnificent food. Great service. Great to personally meet the owner and chef!

Food was excellent, we tried many different dishes and all were uniquely prepared. Service unfortunately was very slow with some dishes taking more than 30 minutes.
