Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant. Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too. (Bombay Delight does not use any ingredient that contains artificial coloring agent or flavor in our dishes. We love Lahore Karahi, we’ve been coming here for years. The food is delicious and great value for money. It’s very busy and lively, I would recommend booking, although you may still have to wait a little while for your table, you will be prioritised. A Tooting Gem!

Visited for the first time the Worcester Park restaurant. We booked an early table but the restaurant soon filled up and it was a Wednesday evening so not a peak day. The waiter was really helpful as we weren't sure on the food choiced. We chose a sharing platter starter which was so delicious and cooked beautifully. We then chose a mutton curry and a prawn curry with basmati rice and a roti. Everything was delicious and cooked beautifully. The roti was buttery and flaky and there was just the right amount of food. My other half had a pudding traditional set custard with jaggery which was also very nice, i chose a lychee sangria which was heaven. Really recommend this restaurant the service was great but the food was outstanding and we will definitely make this a regular haunt.
