We strive to use the freshest available ingredients and best family recipes to bring our favorite dishes to life. We have a crafted some amazing Persian inspired cocktails for your enjoyment. Traditional spices married with the best spirits by our resident mixologist Danielle. Yahya Sardari brought Kookoo to life in August of 2023 to showcase his love of Persian cuisine.     Excellent restaurant. We had a party of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meals. Prompt service with an attention to detail. We will look forward to dining at Peacock Cafe on our next visit to DC.

    Great food even better service! The only complaint I have is the temperature of the restaurant. It was quite cold, and uncomfortable but ultimately warmed up as the day progressed and more guests started to arrive.

    Looking for exceptional fresh Persian food with spot on service and great art work this is your place . Authentic family recipes cooked by the chef that celebrates his family heritage with love and soul! Loved the steak/marinated tender chicken and sides, family braised chicken recipe in a pomegranate sauce over rice. Will return when we are back in town for sure!

    Korean fried chicken and perogie appetizers were delicious. Everyone tried something different for entrees and we all enjoyed our meals and exclaimed how good everyone else’s dishes looked. The crème brûlée apple cheesecake was great and the red wine I had was a heavy pour. Not crowded on a Thursday night and our server was really nice. One of the nicest, chillest meals I’ve had in a while. Bravo!
