Executive Chef Domenic Tudda spent his childhood years learning of Italian cuisine while his family owned and operated Stromboli's restaurant in Calgary. He furthered his education by undergoing extensive culinary training in Italy and has been able to continue his parent's legacy of bringing unique and incredibly authentic Italian dining to Calgarians. One of the most revered of these ventures is Ristorante Pulcinella, where Domenic first earned distinction when his international training crossed borders and entered Calgary in the spring of 2006. One of the few APN (Associazione Pizzaioli Napolitani) certified pizzerias in the world, Domenic has been able to showcase his culinary skills, incredible wine knowledge, and passion for Italian cuisine to provide Calgary with a truly artistic, original and delicious experience not soon to be forgotten. Dopo was phenomenal! The ambiance was romantic and cozy. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable providing clarity on the menu and suggestions for pairings. My partner is gluten free and I was concerned he couldn’t eat many things on the menu but they had unreal gluten free bread, pasta, and dessert options. I ate it and wouldn’t even have known it was gluten free. Will 100% be back and telling all our friends

Delightful table for 2 by the fireplace with exceptional professional service from our server. Food and drinks came promptly and all dishes were outstanding - exceeding our expectations. Steak was done perfectly, crispy potatoes fan-tastic, the blistered tomatoes amazingly flavorful with cheesy sauce cleaned up with beautiful foccacia bread. The zucchini salad was a delightful surprise bursting with flavors all equally balanced. Bravo to our server and all the chefs in the kitchen. Its was a tremendous dining experience for us. Thank you.

One of my favourite restos on the west side! Stopped in for a late bite after pickup at yyc. Beet salad outstanding, gnocchi amazing, with a great Macon! Nicest people serving. Always feel appreciated by the staff here, always a great experience!
