Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, Amalfi Cucina & Mercato - Downtown Atlanta is a traditional Neapolitan trattoria centered around an open kitchen featuring a 6,000 pound wood-burning brick oven imported from Italy. The 170 seat dining room also has large semicircular booths, custom wrought iron chandeliers along with Juliet balconies overlooking an Italian-inspired entryway. Originating in and the true pizza of Naples in the 1600s, Vera Pizza Napoletana is 12 inches or less in size, made from simple fresh quality ingredients from the Campania region of Italy and cooked at temperatures in excess of 900 degrees in approximately 60 seconds. Just launched, a new menu which includes many fresh pastas, salads, appetizers and desserts, including beautiful imported gelato.     Yeppa was amazing! Service was great. David was helpful with choosing what to order and made sure everything was great! I ordered the Linguine Alle Vongole and Salame Piccante along with an espresso martini. The dishes were delicious and I would definitely come back!

    Excellent, as always. We had a party of five seated at a round table. It was a bit hard to hear the person directly across the table, but nothing outrageous, just a great restaurant on a Saturday night. The wine list is excellent. Highly recommend the fried artichoke starter. The octopus was delicious too. Everyone loved their meals- carbonara, rigatoni Alla vodka, chicken. All great. Must start with the focaccia. Cocktail list is amazing, but they no longer have my favorite (Verde fresco) which is a bummer.

    I have been here a couple of times now and I am never let down by the amazing service and the delicious food. We ordered appetizers and drinks and our server was very attentive and kind throughout the meal. I would recommend coming here for both brunch and dinner as you will never be let down

    My experience was great. I had the feat of the 7 fish menu. The food was exquisite, my server was knowledgeable, attentive and professional. The ambiance and the decor is very cozy, romantic but modern. What I could criticize is the wait between the course went a lil over the reasonable time considering that the restaurant was not crowded. The ladies room decor did not meet my expectations considering the restaurant standard and price. Overall, I would rate it a 8.5/10
