Belmonte’s Ristorante crafts fine Italian cuisine in its elegant and charming eatery, located in the seaside resort town of Asbury Park. For starters, the portabella mushrooms stuffed with eggplant, spinach and mozzarella and the battered artichoke hearts Francese make excellent choices.     Party of 6 for Christmas Eve. Dinner was fantastic. It was busy but the service was great. Great ambience and lighting. Curated cocktails. Noise was well controlled. Food was the star of the show. We were there at night so I can't wait to go back for lunch to see the views of the ocean from the dining room.

    2024 Christmas Eve dinner. Fruitta di Mar was excellent. Fried calamari was good but a bit over cooked. Carpaccio was excellent. Chicken Savoy was also overdone and dry inside. Seafood fra diavolo was excellent. Chicken capriccio was delicious. Halibut was great. Dylan was very attentive and the many servers from the kitchen were impressive. Italian cheesecake was superb. We had a better experience two yrs ago for a birthday dinner but still Highly recommended.

    We had a great time and a terrific meal at La Dolce Vita. The restaurant has wonderful location directly across from the beach and it was pleasantly decorated for Christmas. The only thing I could say wasn’t great was the calamari. It was a bit rubbery but that’s what seems to happen with that dish. It’s hit or miss. Otherwise great food , service and a wonderful experience
