It wasn’t busy due to the approaching thanksgiving holiday so I had a grand time. I would have liked a little bit more flavor in the Fra Diavolo dish but never the less I had a grand time.

Filomena does not disappoint! Always perfectly cooked pasta, chicken and seafood. The place is already decorated for Christmas which makes it quite an experience with a polar bear dressed in his best and Santa not to mention all the streamers and stuff hanging from the ceiling. No place like it. Only downside is they fill the place up and it gets tight and warm down in that basement. A must for any trip to DC and Georgetown!

It is such a treat that Cynthia opened on H Street. Our neighborhood has needed a restaurant like this. I love the Parmesan fries and burgers and am looking forward to trying other menu items.
