Over the years he has honed his skills, and become a master of his craft. King Umberto is a family-owned Italian restaurant that has been serving the Elmont community for over 40 years. The restaurant is known for its warm and inviting atmosphere, as well as its delicious food. The menu features a wide variety of classic Italian dishes, as well as some more modern creations. Some of the most popular dishes include the Fried Capellini, the Chicken Marsala, and the Stuffed Veal Chop. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list, with over 350 wines to choose from. Grotta di Fuoco, which translates to Fire Cave, is an industrial, rustic space with subtle lighting, raw steel, reclaimed wood, and concrete finishes. Step inside, descend below street level, and enter our vision of a cave. As for the fire, our focal point is a wood burning oven right next to the bar. You can sit close enough to feel the warmth, hear the crackle, and smell the scent of food being cooked, all while being entranced by the open flame. While Long Beach is rocking during the summer with the beach, Boardwalk, events, and outdoor dining, winter is when Grotta heats up.     This restaurant runs on time so don’t be late for your reservation.  It is small and they run it perfectly Carley our waitress was very accommodating. Everybody at the restaurant was so nice. The food was unique and absolutely delicious. We all got fish and the fish was cooked to perfection. The flavors in the entrées were superb .The only downside for me was that the chairs were a little uncomfortable. We 100% will definitely be going back.

    The food was absolutely delicious. Our server Barbie was very nice and attentive. The profiteroles for dessert are the best.

    Fantastic friendly vibe, the quality of purveying every item on the menu is consistently a 10. . The recipes are genuinely original and the selection of different meats, fish,pastas, salads and brick oven pizza are endless. I’ve been eating at DaNicola from day one and it NEVER disappoints my family and friends for any occasion. It’s a NYC experience at half the price of any 5 star restaurant!! Nicky the owner/chef of the restaurant loves satisfying his loyal customers with his home cooking!! Kudos to Marci, Donna and Stavros for their service.

    Great food. Great service. Great dining experience. Enjoyed everything we ordered. !Calamari. Lobster ravioli Burrata appetizer plate. Chicken Veal & fish entrees. Delicious. Even Had one of the best Cappuccinos I’ve had in long time. Of course we’ll be going back Thank you to all M Martin
