Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, Amalfi Cucina & Mercato - Downtown Atlanta is a traditional Neapolitan trattoria centered around an open kitchen featuring a 6,000 pound wood-burning brick oven imported from Italy. The 170 seat dining room also has large semicircular booths, custom wrought iron chandeliers along with Juliet balconies overlooking an Italian-inspired entryway. Originating in and the true pizza of Naples in the 1600s, Vera Pizza Napoletana is 12 inches or less in size, made from simple fresh quality ingredients from the Campania region of Italy and cooked at temperatures in excess of 900 degrees in approximately 60 seconds. Just launched, a new menu which includes many fresh pastas, salads, appetizers and desserts, including beautiful imported gelato.     When I walked in, one of my favorite songs were playing (a John Summit song) so I was already having a great first impression. Our server Doug was amazing. He was patient, answered our questions and his timing in between courses was perfect. I’m very picky about my cosmos, and mine was made exactly to my liking. The food was delicious, I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes! Next time I’ll leave room for dessert!

    La Tavola is absolutely amazing! Staff are so attentive and knowledgeable. Food was delicious, Highly recommend the Caesar salad and the mushroom ragu. Finishing the meal with their cheesecake and home made limoncello just topped off a wonderful meal!

    We went to Grana for a casual dinner before visiting the light display at Atlanta Botanical Gardens. The restaurant was fun and spacious, and our server was very good. We enjoyed a meatball flight, which was genius. We shared three pies - a Fibonacci, a Figgy, and a Potato. All of them were delicious and unlike anything we’d had recently. We look forward to dining there again.
