First time to Isola La Jolla. Starting with being immediately greeted and very accommodating with our request for seating, even though they were busy, to the wait staff, our phenomenal waitress Stephanie, and the food...our visit exceeded our expectations. The decor is charming and inviting. We had the Wood Fired Cannelini beans and the Margherita DOP. Both were delicious. All the food coming out looked like I wanted to try.

The food, service, and drinks were exceptional. At the end, the chef came and introduced himself and brought us an extra dessert which was a real treat. I could not be happier with the experience and meal. Will definitely be sharing with my friends and family. Hope to be back again in the future.

Marisi is a lovely restaurant.. The service is excellent the atmosphere is inviting and charming. The food is excellent and innovative. Very fresh ingredients, wonderful fresh pasta. Everything about the restaurant is first class.

We picked Piatti at random based on where we were staying. Service was great. Smart, friendly server was helpful and attentive without hovering. Food was excellent. The PEI mussels were a great start. Took desert to go. Not crazy expensive but felt like it was.
