It was not bad but not exceptional. My steak was tasty. My wife got the Eggplant Parmesan and it was undercooked and not great. The ambiance was nice. The food seemed pricy for what the overall quality — quantity was generous but quality was fair.

First of all I thought the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming! We were celebrating our anniversary and they made it feel special. The rigatoni really stood out and will be a must order for us in the future - it had the perfect level of spice and warmth in flavor. The chips and dip were a fun appetizer to start with and were priced perfectly. We’ll definitely be back!

The food is excellent. We were with another couple and ordered the cauliflower, zucchini pancakes, baked clams, tortellachi, brandzino and duck. Everything was delicious. Our server was very attentive & brought two samples of wine to taste. It was an extremely cold night & the tables near the door are drafty. Avoid if possible. Also no valet parking so plan to look for parking in the neighborhood.

We loved our anniversary date at Il Girasole Trattoria... the food, service, and ambiance were all spectacular, thank you!!

We really enjoyed dining here. Really good quality authentic italian cuisine. Service was great. Loved the bread service with Calabrian butter!
