Emporio, a rustic Roman-style trattoria, managed by the same team responsible for the successful Aurora Brooklyn and Aurora Soho restaurants, has become another one of their dining destinations known for excellent food delivered in a relaxed and authentic setting.Literally an Emporio, the restaurant will sell a superior selection of quality Italian provisions offering Italian and local cheeses, artisanal and house cured charcuterie, raw bar, fritti, wood-fired pizzas, homemade pastas and traditional Roman entrees. Fossetta is a natural wine bar and restaurant in the Lower East Side. Charlene Santiago (formerly of The John Dory Oyster Bar and Reynard) and Josh Even (Tosca Cafe in SF, Breslin Bar & Dining Room, The Spotted Pig) have curated a menu of Sourdough Focaccia, Antipasti, and House-Made Pastas influenced by the flavors of Italy and the Mediterranean. The oft-changing wine list features natural wines from small producers from around the world. Large garage doors provide a casual indoor/outdoor European appeal. Supper is The Third restaurant from the Frank crew. Here Frank has taken his favorite classic dishes from all over the north of italy and coupled them with a space that reeks Old East Village charm. Wonderful experience! The Focaccias were amazing! We also had the mushroom salad. It was delicious. And the liver dish was super yummy as well! We finished with the pancake, which was also delicious. Going back there for sure!

The environment is beautiful, the food is amazing, the rosemary wings are delicious! I was running late, I called and spoke to someone and they gave me the assurance I still had my reservations. I’ll be back with a group for branch soon

This restaurant delivers an extraordinary dining experience, with food that is truly exceptional. The highlight of the meal was the polenta, a dish crafted to absolute perfection. Served tableside, the presentation added an elegant and personal touch that elevated the entire experience. The texture was creamy, the flavor rich and perfectly balanced, making it a standout among an already impressive menu. The service matched the quality of the food, with attentive and knowledgeable staff watched very closed by the excepcional manager Austin, enhancing the overall ambiance. From start to finish, the attention to detail and passion for culinary excellence were evident. Highly recommend this spot for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience—don’t miss the polenta!
