The best Italian restaurant! Awesome!the service , the ambient te food and of course the prices. This restaurant it’s like a little jewel in La Jolla !

What a great experience. We had a reservation at 6:15 and we were seated by 6:16. Not typically how it goes at most places. Ordered a bottle of wine and the owner came over to open it and thank us for coming in. Again, not the norm. Food was absolutely delicious. Ambiance was warm and cozy. 10/10

Despite it being Valentine’s Day “a busy and chaotic day at other restaurants”, service and food was phenomenal! 10 out of 10! This place never fails to impress me. Was sat down in less than a minute and waiter Nick took our drink order within minutes. Absolutely the best service provided by Nick and May. All the details and attention were unnoticed. Compliments to the chef for the best prefixed menu I have ever seen! Bring the mussels to the menu please that broth was exquisite. Thank you for making the best Valentines dinner date I’ve ever had.

What an AMAZING evening! The service at Cesarina was impeccable. Every person that approached us was warm, friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. From the focaccia to the soup to the pastas and Tiramisu everything was delicious. We enjoyed an early Valentine’s celebration and it was lovely. The ambiance is cozy and warm. I especially loved the little touches of the hot water bottle and blankets to keep us toasty warm. Irish was so friendly, making time to check in on us and share the story of the restaurant. A true gem, can’t wait to return.

Absolutely incredible experience. This was my second time coming back here and it lived up to the same hype I had experienced the first time. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was even better. What was nice about this time was that I had concerns about being too cold sitting in the patio area during the winter and after expressing my concerns, they reassured me it would be sufficiently warm and proceeded to have a good amount of heating as well as additional blankets and heated water pads given to us for additional heat should we have needed it. I will definitely be coming back again
