In 2005, Annie and Craig Stoll annexed the space next door to their James Beard Award winning Delfina restaurant fulfilling a long time dream of bringing Neapolitan-inspired pizzas to San Francisco. We had an excellent lunch at Pulpos. The sampler plate was tasty although a teeny bit salty. I loved the lamb burger. Our other diners said that their Angus burger, and pasta dish were very good. Service was great. I would go back for the lamb and pasta.

Even though we had to keep pushing our reservation due to traffic, they saved the perfect table for us to celebrate our future son-in-law‘s last American meal for a while as he was leaving the next day for deployment. The staff, the ambience and the food were all fantastic. Will definitely return.

This was our Thanksgiving Dinner. Only two of us now so we went with the prix fixe turkey dinner. Yes, I know Il Fornaio is an Italian restaurant, but all the traditional Thanksgiving items were excellent.

Friendly service and delicious food! Our waitress was very kind, patient and helpful. Our party of four very much enjoyed dinner. It was not that crowded on a Friday night at 6pm, so the restaurant was pretty quiet and it was a relaxed atmosphere. The first thing that was said after dinner was, “Let’s come back here again for lunch!”
