Tellers serves authentic interpretations of regional Italian cuisine. Traditional methods of Italian cooking and the philosophy of using seasonal ingredients with integrity form the basis of the house made pastas, wood oven-baked Neapolitan pizzas, and locally sourced vegetables and steaks cooked over a wood burning grill. Tellers’ extensive Italian wine list highlights the breadth and diversity of Italy’s wine growing regions and unique varietals. Tellers is located in the historic First National Bank gallery amongst the original teller booths, which have been meticulously restored. Pizzeria Gusto is Oklahoma City's first Neapolitan pizza restaurant. We are located in the historic Uptown district near 23rd Street and Walker Avenue. Our Executive Chef Kathryn Mathis brings her forty years culinary experience and innovative vision to the restaurant. Stefano Ferarra oven, that we use, was hand-built in Naples. We import our tomatoes, flour and other fine ingredients from Italy. Stella Modern Italian Cuisine specializes in fresh seasonal menus featuring local and organic ingredients when possible. The wood burning oven is the heart of the restaurant, producing Roman style pizza and the majority of the menu. Our culinary team led by Executive Chef Sara Howard has created a modern menu using ideas that begin with traditional Italian dishes. The wine list is an interesting group of Italian and American wines personally selected by owner/operator Lori Burson.
