Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. This was our first time visiting the restaurant. I was looking for a nice upscale sushi restaurant to celebrate my birthday. They weren’t many options being that my birthday is New Year’s Day. Came across Tomo and just by the reviews and menu I was sold. What a great place. Food and Drinks were amazing! Definitely will be back and recommend!

Excellent service! Like top quality. Food was really good. I prefer the yellow tail jalapeno at a different restaurant but Umi’s is very good. Love the lobster toban-yaki. Spider roll was yummy. Sake negiri also tasty. Chocolate bento box dessert was amazing. It’s pricey but we will return for special occasions.

Booked this place last minute for Christmas Day and I was pleasantly surprised! We had the pad Thai and steak fried rice and it was delicious. The service was good and the price was right. Don’t expect huge portions/leftovers, we finished everything 😋
