As the first uptown New York location for legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa, we opened with much anticipation in the summer of 2005.Nobu's co-owners are his longtime partners: renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, and Hollywood film producer Meir Teper. The restaurant showcases Nobu's signature new style Japanese cuisine with classic dishes such as Tiradito Nobu Style and Black Cod Miso. The restaurant received three stars from the New York Times.

Momoya is the perfect place for lunch with a group of coworkers. Sit at a table and choose from a menu with Kitchen Entrées like Teriyaki, Scottish Salmon or Grass-Fed Rib Eye. Noodle dishes are served with wasabi seaweed tempura and oshinko. If you come solo or with a partner, you can find a seat at the sushi bar. The extensive sushi menu features entrées such as the eight-piece sushi, tuna roll or the 15-piece sashimi. Momoya is family friendly and has seating adequate for children. Your choice of Miso soup or salad comes with lunch specials. Hi-Life Bar & Grill is one of the Upper West side’s most popular and longstanding neighborhood restaurants (est. 1991). Hi-Life's 1930's decor is the backdrop for bar & grill classics like flame-grilled steaks and hamburgers, broiled and seared fresh fish specials, bountiful "Big Bowls" of pasta and entree salads, and last but not least a Sushi/Raw bar.     Crave Fishbar s is a most welcome addition and now my go to place for dining on the UWS especially when craving raw Oysters. Its got the best selection and the best prices for Oysters especially during happy hour. The Oyster selections are curated by an extremely knowledgeable and friendly Oyster Sommelier (didn't even know there was such a thing). Anyone looking for Oysters should ask the Sommelier for his recommendations. In addition to Oysters, the happy hour menu and full menu offer up a variety of great food, and the wait staff are efficient and very friendly. I also appreciate Crave Fishbar's stated support of Oyster restoration projects such as NYC's Billion Oyster project. Although I've sometimes made reservations for a table, I've also had a good time and met some interesting people by just stopping in and slurping oysters at the Bar.

    Miso soup, slgnature sushi and warm chocolaye cake were all very delicious. The decoration was natural and welcoming. The tables were a bit close to each other. Great food, value and atmosphere.
