Chaplin's Restaurant & Bar is a 1930's style Japanese Ramen House and cocktail bar. Chaplin's Executive Chef and Partner, Myo Htun, is originally from Burma, but was cooking ramen in Japan at a young age. Myo received a blessing from his mentor in Japan after nearly 30 years of cooking in Japan, to come to America and continue to showcase his authentic Ramen and traditional Japanese cuisine.     Crab legs were a hit with my granddaughter plus they made her a special nonalcoholic beverage. Lobster tails were very good too. Highly recommend for a special night in Washington DC.

    This was my second visit to NOBU Washington, DC, and it was just as exceptional as the first. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless. I got there a bit earlier than my reservation time but the staff was incredibly accommodating and seated me right away. The food, as expected, was outstanding. Every dish was prepared to perfection with the freshest ingredients and exquisite flavors that make NOBU such a standout dining experience. What made the evening even more special was the service. My server was the same one I had on my last visit and she was just as wonderful this time around. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. The combination of impeccable service, delicious food, and the elegant yet welcoming atmosphere makes NOBU DC a place I will continue to return to. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.
