After months of training in Japan, A new Takumi Yakiniku is back! New Team, New Menu, Better food and Better Service.Takumi Yakiniku is a Japanese Yakiniku BBQ restaurant that offers top quality Australian Wagyu and Japanese Wagyu and Authentic Japanese Cuisine. Besides Yakiniku we also offer traditional Japanese Washoku. We have both buffet menu and A'La Carte menu. We aim to provide our customers the best experience with us by providing the most authentic Japanese taste, the most harmonious dining environment and best customer service experience.Our kitchen staff are mostly native Japanese who have 10+ years chef experience in Japanese Cuisine.Recent training in Japan allows us to provide more varieties. Besides, Yakiniku, we will start offering Ramen, Udon, Tempura, Oden, Steaming Egg, Ochatsuke and Yakitori to our customers. So that you get more to choose to fulfill your wish.     I don't usually post reviews for anything but I thought I absolutely had to write a review for this! My partner and I love korean/japanese bbq and we tried a variety of different buffets in Adelaide and Melbourne but this has become our top pick. Their variety of sushi, quality meats, yukhoe and tataki were favourites all for their premium option at $64 per person. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. Will come again once we visit Sydney for another trip.

    An extraordinary experience - eating at Tsuzumi is a real privilege. The dedication and skill of the chef is reflected in everything he presents with such care and love. The food is truly respected and utterly delicious. A small curated wine selection that was delicious.
