The atmosphere was wonderful, waitress was on point and very knowledgeable and nice. The server on the otherhand, must've been new-he would walk out with the plates of food and ask, "who's is this?" We'd ask what is it and he would just hold the plate down for us to see. Not much help at all. The shrimp and grits, which I've ordered before, was not good. We had about 4 different people that ordered and all 4 was different-too saucy, thick sauce, not enough sauce, etc. The consistency just was not there. Others orders were not hot/warm when served.

The service here was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive even though she was also working the walk-up window. The restaurant is now completely gluten free, which is why my wife wanted to go. She would tell you that you can't even tell it's gluten free. She had the crispy fish taco and the coconut shrimp taco. She usually cannot have these because of gluten, but she absolutely loved them. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We love Mexico Lindo. There is an authenticity with the food, place, staff, music, and overall vibe. The food is excellent and the portions are large. The alcoholic beverages are strong and well made. In a time when most establishments are understaffed, Mexico Lindo typically has a large staff, and even the worse among them works hard. The hosts, bartenders, barbacks, servers, food runners, and those in the kitchen each provide an authentic piece to an overall masterpiece. If you want a more authentic and cultural experience, and enjoy quality food, strong drinks, excellent music, try Mexico Lindo on South Cobb. You'll find working managers in this place, as everybody has a role in the overall success. While each employee brings a distinct personality, each adds to the authenticity of the place. Part of me wants to beat the drum and summon everybody in the Atlanta area to try this establishment, while another part wants to keep it a secret and see nobody I know when visiting this wonderful establishment. The inside is well air-conditioned, and the patios, downstairs and upstairs offer excellent seating options, as do the bars downstairs and upstairs. This is a good place to come on a date, go alone, or a group. Nothing is for everybody, but if you do not love Mexico Lindo, the problem might be you. We love the place!
