Aline was created from a desire to share my family’s food traditions. My love for Lebanese food comes from my mother, Aline. A Passionate home cook, famous for gathering her friends and family around her long table placed in the heart of a bucolic garden we call “Le Jardin d’Aline”. Meals have always been a way for her to teach my sisters and I about our Lebanese heritage. In summer we often enjoyed “Siyadiyeh”, a freshly caught sea bass served with a fisherman’s risotto native to Tyre, my mother’s hometown and in winter we would all gather in the kitchen eagerly waiting for the slow cooked lamb for her famous “Fatteh”. Our dishes are a modern take on everyday Lebanese comfort food served in a cozy thirty seat restaurant in Mayfair . Outstanding experience at Grilandia for an anniversary celebration. The decor was soft and pretty; the service was excellent, with very kind staff! The food was exceptional overall, served in large portions. Grilled chicken often feels dry in restaurants, but here it was juicy, tender and flavourful. The vegetable mezze was succulent as well. Would highly recommend, and will definitely go again.

CROCKER’S FOLLY ( MAROUSH) ambience was excellent. The architecture is worthy of mention. Service was excellent. Food: The selection of Mezze was very good. The main course — shish touk was good. The mixed grill is not recommended, it was dry and overcooked. RD ( Please do not give the full name of the Diner)

Great food and I liked the atmosphere in the room, nice to know there was an opportunity to have shisha. As for the service, the manager was great and he was professional however the waitresses felt like they’ve not worked in hospitality before unless they were new to the role then I would take this back. They weren’t very pleasant, and when we needed someone there was nobody around for example we needed knives and folks and we waited a long time for that. Other than that the food was good

Excellent and authentic food. generous portions. Friendly and professional service. A very good addition to Hampstead village. My only quibble is the wine list. Limited choice and too expensive.
