The Swan in Chiswick dates back to 1871 but we are positively new occupants having only arrived in 2002.We strive to keep the pub very much a pub while offering a Mediterranean-inspired menu that’s won many followers over the years.We have a cosy fire for the winter and a wonderful garden for the summer – it truly feels like a hidden gem and well worth a visit.Hopefully you can find everything you need to know here on the website but we’d much rather welcome you in person! La Palombe is a new neighbourhood bistro from restaurateur James Chiavarini (also of Il Portico) & chef patron Jake Leach (previously head chef at the three Michelin starred The Ledbury).A large wood burning grill takes center stage where the majority of the dishes are cooked over live embers. This must be the best restaurant not just in Kensington, not just in West London but in the entire city of London. This is now my third time and the food is consistently outstanding - I'll be back for a fourth time

The food is outstanding - combos you wouldn’t think works but oh my word it really does!!! Value for money too and the service is mint. This is the second time I’ve been, and I brought my fuzzy friends. The ones who will complain about anything and everything. They had not a single bad word to say. (I hardly ever suggest places to eat because I can’t deal with the complaining if they aren’t happy with … the draft, the speed of service and what not - however I was confident in taking them here. And it didn’t disappoint!!) 15/10!!
